Reliability Simplified Independent refineries
Reliability support for small and independently owned refineries, terminals and gas processing sites that run without a corporate reliability group: criticality, bad actors, PM strategy, critical spares, mechanical integrity support and turnaround readiness.
Sites without a corporate reliability group.
The majors have reliability departments, corporate standards and consultants on retainer. This page is not for them. It is for the independently owned refinery, the terminal, the gas plant and the asphalt or specialty site where the maintenance manager is also the reliability engineer, the turnaround manager and the inspection coordinator.
We bring refinery methods at a scale that fits: a criticality ranking that drives the inspection and PM priorities, bad actor work that is traced to failure modes rather than opinions, a spares position you can defend to the owner, and a turnaround process with real gates.
The equipment: pumps and compressors, fired heaters and exchangers, towers and vessels under API 510 and 570 programs, tank farms under API 653, loading racks and utilities. We work to API, ASME and ISO and to your own site standards. We do not stamp designs or do construction, and we say so.
Criticality, bad actors, PMs, spares, turnarounds.
Every item is done hands-on with your team and scoped to your site. Nothing here is a software license.

Site assessment
Fixed price · $5,600 · travel includedWe come to the plant, walk it, review your CMMS and failure history, and talk to the people doing the work. You get a scored report on where your program sits, the gaps that matter, and what to fix first.
Book the assessment →Reliability Support Plan
One flat monthly rate for a block of reliability hours, sized like a part-time engineer. The hours go where the need is that month: a criticality ranking, a bad actor review, a PM rewrite, a spares call, a problem on the floor. Run out, and you add hours at your tier rate or step up a tier for a lower rate. Month to month, or 3, 6 and 12 month terms. Ask us about it today.

We already have an inspection program. What does reliability add?
Inspection tells you the condition of fixed equipment. Reliability covers the rotating equipment, the PM program, the spares and the work management that inspection does not touch, and the criticality ranking that tells both programs where to spend first.
Can you run or support our turnaround?
Yes. We run turnaround readiness across six phases and five gates, from scope freeze through startup. We can manage the event, fill a planning or readiness role, or review your plan and tell you where it is thin.
Our CMMS has years of data nobody trusts. Is it usable?
Usually, yes. We pull the work order and parts history, clean what can be cleaned, and build the bad actor list from it. Where the data is missing we fill it from the crew and the field. The cleanup is work we do inside your hours.
Do you need to be prequalified?
Tell us what your site requires. We carry general liability and professional liability insurance and will work through your contractor onboarding.
Do you have to be on site?
The assessment is on site. Most monthly program work is done remotely with site visits when the work needs eyes on the equipment or when a turnaround is in the field.
What does it cost?
The site assessment is $5,600, fixed price, travel included. The monthly program is one flat rate for a block of hours that goes wherever the need is that month. Run out, add hours at your tier rate or step up a tier for a lower rate. Month to month, or 3, 6 and 12 month terms. Turnaround roles and stand-alone jobs are scoped and quoted before we start.
